The Family Safety Kit
Twenty printable pages that turn "be careful" into a plan: examples to practice on, numbers to write down, and words to say when a request feels wrong.
What is in the kit?
Family Safety Guide
12 pagesSix fictional examples to read together: the delivery message, the bank impersonator, the family emergency, the computer warning, the job with extra money, and the online relationship or store. Each one ends with a next move and words you can use. Then an account check, and two pages on what to do if you already clicked, shared, or paid.
Family Action Workbook
6 pagesA 20 minute conversation plan, a page for the people and numbers you trust, four practice scenarios with an answer key, scripts for asking for help without blame, and a private incident record.
Family Quick Cards
2 pagesA fridge checklist and two cut-out contact cards: one for you, one for someone you trust.
Editable copies
MarkdownPlain-text versions of everything, so you can enlarge the type or adapt the wording for your family.
Who is it for?
Adult children helping a parent, grandparents who want a plan of their own, and anyone who has had a close call and wants the family on the same page. One printing covers a household. You can print it as often as you like for your own family.
How is it different from the free guide?
The free guide teaches the habit in eight pages. The kit adds the practice: more examples, the workbook you fill in by hand, the scripts, the cut-out cards, and the incident record.
What it is not
It is educational material on U.S. Letter paper, with fictional examples and links to official U.S. guidance. It does not monitor accounts, check whether a particular person is a scammer, recover money, or guarantee safety. The worksheets are for handwriting and are not fillable forms. No video or software is included.
